A Manual Comb Binder For Thick Reports

The GBC CombBind CB25 is a manual comb binding machine that handles combs as large as 45mm, which ACCO rate at 390 A4 or A5 sheets.

Plastic comb binding suits documents that change. The comb can be opened again to add a page or swap a section, which is why it remains the everyday format for board papers, procedure manuals and tender responses. ACCO pitch the CB25 at offices with moderate binding needs.

Punching is done with a double handle lever, so both hands share the effort. The margin depth is fixed, which keeps the hole position identical from one job to the next. A clippings tray and a built in storage compartment sit underneath, and rubber feet stop the machine sliding while you work. ACCO state a 2 year warranty for this code.

ACCO give two numbers. Their web page lists 25 sheets, but the capacity line printed on the machine in their own photo reads a maximum of 20 sheets at 80gsm, or two 200 micron PVC covers. Work to 20 sheets until you have tested your own stock.
