Electric Comb Binding With An Adjustable Margin

The GBC CombBind CB25E Pro is an electric comb binder with a push button punch, a foot pedal and an adjustable margin, built for 21 loop plastic combs.

The Pro sits at the top of the CombBind line. ACCO class it for heavy use, and the photos show a steel bodied unit with a Punch button on the head and a pedal on a cable, so the operator keeps both hands on the paper while it punches.

A selector at the side sets the margin at 2.5mm, 4.5mm or 6.5mm, moving the holes closer to the edge on thin sets and further in on thick ones. A capacity chart printed on the base matches comb size to sheet count, and a divided drawer collects the clippings. ACCO state a 2 year warranty.

FAQs

ACCO publish two figures. The feature text and the label on the base say 25 sheets of paper or 4 PVC covers per punch, while the spec table says 20 sheets. Plan on 20 until you have tried your own paper.
ACCO feature text says up to 500 sheets on a 51mm comb and the base chart ends at 500, but their spec table lists 450 sheets. We are checking which is right for this code.
The chart printed on the base gives 220 sheets of 80 gram paper for a 25mm comb, and 95 sheets for a 12mm comb.
Electric. ACCO photos show a Punch button and a foot pedal. One line of ACCO feature text calls it a double handle punch, which does not match the machine and has been left out.
The CB25 Pro is punched with a long hand lever. The CB25E Pro does the punching with a motor.

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
