One Screen Above the Other, or Side by Side if You Change Your Mind

The Fellowes Platinum Series Dual Stacking Monitor Arm 8043401 is built for narrow desks and benches: a tall pole carries two gas spring arms so one monitor can sit directly above the other, taking the width of a single screen, while still letting you move them side by side later.

Fellowes give screen limits of 27 inches when stacked and 32 inches side by side, each from 1.5 to 8kg, with either VESA 75 or VESA 100 hole spacing. Each head tilts plus or minus 45 degrees and rotates fully for portrait use, and two USB ports sit in the base. The 2025 instruction sheet shows a desk clamp with two positions, for desks 10 to 55mm or 50 to 85mm thick, or a grommet fitting through a hole of 8.5 to 70mm.

Stacked screens suit trading, monitoring and coding work where one display shows reference material above the main one. Fellowes report cycle testing to 20,000 movements, and the Australian warranty is 5 years limited.

Fellowes give up to 27 inches when stacked and up to 32 inches side by side, each weighing 1.5 to 8kg.
The current Fellowes instruction sheet shows clamp positions for desks 10 to 55mm and 50 to 85mm thick, or a grommet fitting through a hole from 8.5 to 70mm.
One Fellowes paragraph says 10kg per arm, but their bullet points, specification, the instruction sheet and our title all say 1.5 to 8kg per screen, so 8kg is the limit we quote.
