Derwent Inktense Block Sienna Gold for layered colour work
Sienna Gold is colour 0240 in Derwent's Inktense Blocks range: water-soluble, highly pigmented and permanent once dry.
Derwent formulates Inktense Blocks to give ink-like colour that can be worked dry or with water. This block is Sienna Gold, colour number 0240. Adding water makes the pigment more intense, and once the colour has dried it is permanent, so you can work over the top without dissolving what is underneath. Derwent lists paper, fabric, ceramic and wood among the porous surfaces it can be applied to.
Range ratings from Derwent: colour intensity 5, layering 5, blendable 3, strength 3. It comes from us in a box of 6, all Sienna Gold. Our code is AA2302040 and Derwent's is 2302040; Sienna Gold carries colour number 0240. Derwent's table for the 72-colour block range gives a soft texture and an 8mm core size.
Drawing, painting and craft materials across the store are listed under Art & Craft Supplies. You will find this listing in Watercolour Paints, which brings watercolour paints and water-soluble blocks into one collection. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
