Derwent Inktense Iris Blue with a soft 4mm core

Inktense colour 0900, Iris Blue, from Derwent, as a box of six pencils. Derwent lists the range for paper and fabric.

Iris Blue carries the number 0900 among the 100 Derwent Inktense colours. Derwent describes the formulation as acting like ink, with colours that create ink-like effects after drying. The colours are water-soluble and highly pigmented, and Derwent notes they become even more intense once mixed with water. Fabric, ceramic and wood are among the porous surfaces Derwent names for Inktense, alongside paper.

Quote AA700911 to us, or Derwent code 0700911, when ordering. A box from us is 6 pencils of Iris Blue. The colours are water-soluble and, per Derwent, dry permanently. Previously dried layers are not dissolved by new colour, according to Derwent.

Our Inktense Pencils collection gathers the Inktense pencils we carry, so other colours can go on the same order. Pencils for general office and drawing use are listed in Pencils, and Derwent's artist ranges in Derwent Artist Pencils.
