Twelve Bright Neon Shades In One Academy Tin

Derwent Academy 2301935 is a tin of 12 neon colour pencils, a bright mix that sits apart from the standard Academy colour set.

The shades printed on the barrels in ACCO photography run from Rose Pink, Pink, Coral and Orange Pink through Orange, Orange Yellow and Lemon Yellow to Light Blue, Apple Green, Green, Purple and Sapphire Blue. That gives posters, bullet journals, pop art and highlight work a brighter palette than a general colour assortment.

ACCO list a hexagonal barrel of 6.9mm with a 3.3mm core, and describe the pencils as easy to sharpen and hard to break. The colour name printed on each pencil makes it simple to put every shade back in its place in the tin.

Twelve, one of each neon shade shown on the barrels in ACCO photography.
They share the Academy name and the hexagonal barrel, but the colours are a neon mix. The standard Academy tin 2301937 holds a general assortment instead.
ACCO do not list them as water-soluble. For wash effects the Academy watercolour tin is the better fit.
ACCO do not publish guidance for coloured paper, so we cannot say how strongly they show on dark stock. A quick test on your own paper is the safest check.
