Yellow Ochre from the Derwent Pastel Pencils range

A box of 6 Derwent Pastel pencils, all in Yellow Ochre, colour P580 in the 72-colour Pastel Pencils range.

Colour P580, Yellow Ochre, belongs to the Derwent Pastel Pencils range. Derwent notes the medium is naturally water-soluble, so water can turn the colour into a light wash. Derwent describes the pencils as highly pigmented, with minimal dusting. Texture is listed as chalky, over a powder-based core 4mm across. The range is aimed at detailed drawings and sketches, along with portraiture and life studies. Derwent's description is fine grade pastel in pencil form, with a fine chalk texture.

Our listing is a box of 6 pencils, every one in Yellow Ochre. For purchase orders, use our code AA2300287 or Derwent's 2300287. Derwent gives the range 4 for colour intensity and 5 for layering in its range features table.

This pencil sits in Craft Pastels alongside the other pastel lines we carry. The wider Art & Craft Supplies collection holds our general art stock, from paper to paint.
