Zinc Yellow pastel pencils from Derwent, colour P020
We supply Zinc Yellow from Derwent Pastel Pencils as six matching pencils, each with a 4mm chalky core.
Derwent lists Zinc Yellow as colour P020 in its Pastel Pencils range. Derwent lists a chalky texture, a powder-based core and a 4mm core size. Minimal dusting and a high pigment load are two points Derwent makes about the range. Derwent calls the range fine grade pastel within a pencil. Water can be added for light washes, as pastel is naturally water-soluble. For uses, Derwent lists portraiture, life studies, sketches and detailed drawings.
Codes to quote are AA2300231 (ours) and 2300231 (Derwent's). The box we supply holds 6 Zinc Yellow pencils. On Derwent's colour chart the number to look for is P020. In its features table, Derwent scores Pastel Pencils 5 for blendable and 4 for colour intensity. Derwent lists 72 colours in the range.
Pastel pencils and other pastel products are listed together in Craft Pastels. The broader Art & Craft Supplies collection holds the rest of our art materials, from sketch pads to paint.
