A Slot Opening Lid for Paper and Flat Cardboard

Compass 7606011 is the blue lid for the Compass 7606010 60 litre grey bin, with a long narrow slot instead of a round hole, so sheets of paper and flattened card slide in while bottles and food waste are kept out.

The slot is the point of this lid. Office paper, envelopes and folded boxes go through easily, but the narrow opening discourages people from dropping cups or wrappers into the paper stream, which helps keep the collected paper clean for your waste contractor.

The blue insert outlining the slot is a removable centre ring, which Weatherdon say makes the lid easy to clean. The lid itself is black, measures 45 x 33 cm with a height of 10.5 cm, and weighs about 700 g according to Weatherdon.
