Provincial Beige Golden Ochre for Country Decor
Provincial Beige is a golden ochre tan for country decor, straw, wheat sheaves and warm provincial backgrounds.
Our swatch shows Provincial Beige as a golden ochre tan, richer than its name suggests. The tube label has an ochre colour band with a Series 1 mark; the translated lines printed beneath the name in our photo appear to belong to another colour, so we leave them out. Painters use golden tans like this for straw, wheat, baskets, country kitchen pieces and warm backgrounds.
Provincial Beige brings warmth to country schemes without the brightness of a yellow, giving a mellow, sunlit feel. The 75ml tube suits regular decorative work on boxes, trays and signs, and it stores well with other earth tones in a caddy or drawer.
Pair Provincial Beige with barn reds and greens from acrylic paints, find timber trays and boxes in art and craft supplies, and base coat Provincial Beige with flats from craft paint brushes.
