Pine Green for Conifers and Deep Foliage
This 250ml bottle of Jo Sonja's Pine Green is a dark forest green for pine trees, holly and shaded foliage.
Pine Green shows a deep, olive leaning forest green in the swatch photo, a natural fit for conifers, holly leaves and the dark side of hedges. Printed under the Artists' Colours heading for Pine Green are Series 1, ASTM 1 and, for Pine Green, the pigment codes PG.7:PBr.7:PY.74LF. 250ml of Pine Green suits bigger works than a tube.
Christmas designs and woodland scenes use a lot of dark green, so a 250ml bottle suits the volume of trees, wreaths and garlands involved. Deep green also works as a rich background behind white or gold lettering on signs, menus and festive plaques.
Pine Green trees and holly leaves take shape with a fan or round from craft paint brushes. Reds, golds and whites for Christmas work are in acrylic paints, with wooden ornaments and blanks under art and craft supplies.
