Cadmium Yellow Light, a Bright Series 3 Yellow
Cadmium Yellow Light is one of the Series 3 yellows in Jo Sonja's Matte Flow Acrylic, a bright, sunny colour sold in a 75ml tube.
This listing has no painted swatch, so the guide is the tube itself: a bright yellow label band printed Cadmium Yellow Light, a half-filled circle and Series 3, with Jaune de Cadmium Clair, Kadmiumgelb Hell and Amarillo Cadmio Claro below. The classic Artists' Colours design covers the rest. The second photo shows hands painting a floral ceramic vessel.
A light cadmium yellow brings sunny brightness to daffodils, lemons and sunlit highlights, and keeps greens fresh when worked with blue. It is a strong choice where a yellow must stay bright beside other colours. The 75ml size fits easily in a painting bag or a shared class box, and it is light enough to carry to workshops.
For daffodils, lemons and bright sunlit highlights, pick up rounds and flats in the craft paint brushes range, take a canvas or pad from art paper and canvas, and compare Cadmium Yellow Mid and Yellow Light in acrylic paints.
