A Warm Chocolate Dark for Shadows and Bark

Brown Black gives painters a warm, chocolate-toned dark for tree bark, dark hair, leather goods and shadowed interiors.

Our photo shows Brown Black as a dark chocolate tone in the thick patch that warms to a mid coffee brown in the thinner, brushed-out area. Its black band names it Brown Black, translated as Noir Marron, Schwarzbraun and Negro Marrón. Atelier Fine Artists' Paint heads the AI10120 tube; Interactive Acrylic, Unlockable Formula describes Brown Black. Series 1 applies to Brown Black; a half-filled circle marks the chocolate-brown dark label.

An 80ml tube keeps the chocolate-brown dark portable for classes and workshops built around bark. Typical subjects include bark, leather and dark hair. The AI10120 tube names Brown Black clearly at the top. Use the chocolate-brown dark on stretched canvas or canvas board for dark hair.

When planning warm interior shadows, prepare canvas or art paper for leather, see painting supplies for dark hair, keep palettes and accessories near the chocolate-brown dark and compare acrylic paint colours with Brown Black.
