Sunny Mid Yellow for Everyday Painting at Scale

Chroma Atelier Interactive Cadmium Yellow Medium gives you 250ml of a strong, sunny mid yellow for everyday painting across large canvases.

The price list writes it as Cad Yellow Med, but the jar spells out Cadmium Yellow Medium, with Atelier Interactive and Artists' Acrylic printed higher up the label. Our swatch photo shows a strong, sunny mid yellow sitting between lemon and gold, and the brush-out thins to cream. Bananas, taxis, wattle blossom, sunshine and primary-colour design work all suit it.

A middle yellow is one of the most used colours on many palettes, so the 250ml jar of Cadmium Yellow Medium makes sense for regular painters. The broad neck takes a knife or flat brush, and the black screw lid closes it down neatly.

Find lemon and golden partners for Cadmium Yellow Medium in our acrylic paints collection, look at craft paint brushes, and set AI22120 work onto art paper and canvas.

FAQs

AI22120 is a single 250ml jar of Cadmium Yellow Medium, and nothing else is packed with this medium cadmium yellow.
The AI22120 hero swatch shows Cadmium Yellow Medium as a strong, sunny mid yellow between lemon and gold. The brush-out photo is a sunny yellow thinning to cream. Only two photos are available.
Artists' Acrylic is printed on the Cadmium Yellow Medium jar under the Interactive logo. Side-panel details on AI22120 cannot be read in our photo, so this page carries no pigment claim.
The price list places Cadmium Yellow Medium in Series 4 alongside the light and deep cadmium yellows, so AI22120 is priced the same as its two siblings.
