Phthalo Green Artists' Acrylic by Chroma, 60ml
Phthalo Green is an intense bluish green for deep foliage, tropical water, glassy reflections and jewel-toned abstracts.
Heavy strokes on the swatch look almost black-green, while the thin edge glows a clear emerald and mint. Phthalo Green is printed under Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic. Pthalo-Grün is the German version of this jewel green. The phthalo green is Series 1 with a transparent marking. The Phthalo Green label lists pigment PG.7. This bluish green shows Lightfastness ASTM 1, Woolscale 8:8:8. AT10800 is its code. Note the label spells it Pthalo Green.
Phthalo Green in 60ml suits a studio or travel palette where a small amount of an intense green is used at a time. The phthalo green is marked transparent, so it suits glazing. This jewel green makes a low-cost trial size at 60ml. Phthalo Green has a flip-top cap, handy in class.
Phthalo Green painters often look at more acrylics too. The phthalo green works with paint brushes; this bluish green sits well with painting accessories, and Phthalo Green days call for art smocks.
