Light Red Ochre Artists' Acrylic by Chroma, 60ml
Light Red Ochre is an earthy brick red for terracotta pots, rooftops, desert rock and warm flesh notes.
The painted swatch shows a solid brick red that warms to a terracotta orange toward the lighter edge. Light Red Ochre is printed under Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic. Rotocker Hell is the German version of this terracotta earth. The light red ochre is Series 1 with an opaque marking. The Light Red Ochre label lists pigment PR.101. This brick red shows Lightfastness ASTM 1, Woolscale 8:8:8. AT10450 is its code.
The 60ml Light Red Ochre bottle is a handy size for a studio palette or travel kit, and for testing warm red earths on a small board. The light red ochre is marked opaque, for solid cover. This terracotta earth makes a low-cost trial size at 60ml. Light Red Ochre has a flip-top cap, handy in class.
Light Red Ochre painters often look at more acrylics too. The light red ochre works with brushes; this brick red sits well with palettes, and Light Red Ochre days call for aprons and smocks.
