C4 is 229 x 324mm under ISO 216 and it takes an A4 sheet, which is 210 x 297mm, flat and unfolded. That is the whole reason the size exists. It also takes A5 and A4 folded once with room to spare. If you are folding A4 in three you want a DL envelope instead, not this one.

A secretive envelope carries an opaque printed pattern on the inside of the paper so the contents cannot be read through the envelope when it is held up to light. It is the feature to look for when the enclosure carries names, account numbers, salary figures or medical detail. Candida's own stock range list marks its C4 pocket codes as non secretive and leaves its C4 wallet codes unmarked, which is how the range distinguishes them.

Candida lists the same C4 plain face secretive wallet in two closures under two codes. This one, code 9322, is in the lick and stick style and its gummed flap needs moisture. Code 9362 is in the peel and seal style and closes dry under a release strip. Size, stock, lining and box quantity are identical. They are not interchangeable on a bench or in a machine, so order on the closure.

Candida publishes no shelf life figure for the gummed flap, so we do not quote one. Gum is affected by humidity in storage and can block if boxes are stored damp or under load. Keep boxes flat, dry and off a concrete floor, and rotate stock rather than holding a year of cover.
