Add 250 Sheets of Paper Capacity to Your Brother Colour Laser

The genuine Brother LT-350CL lower tray adds a further 250 sheets of paper capacity to the HL-L8430CDW, MFC-L8730CDW, MFC-L8930CDW and MFC-L8970CDW colour laser printers.

Each of these four printers comes with a 250-sheet standard tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, 300 sheets in total. The LT-350CL fits beneath the printer and holds up to 250 sheets of 80 gsm plain paper. Brother allows a maximum of two optional trays per machine, and quotes 800 sheets for an MFC-L8730CDW fitted with two LT-350CL trays.

Fewer refills keep a shared printer running through long report and proposal runs. An extra paper tray also lets staff keep letterhead, coloured or recycled stock loaded beside plain A4 instead of swapping paper in the main tray. It takes sheets from 60 to 105 gsm in A4, A5, B5, Letter and Legal sizes.

Brother lists the LT-350CL for four colour laser models: the HL-L8430CDW, MFC-L8730CDW, MFC-L8930CDW and MFC-L8970CDW. Brother Australia does not list it for any other printer, so check the model badge on the front of your machine before ordering.
Brother allows a maximum of two optional trays per machine. On the MFC-L8730CDW that means up to two LT-350CL trays, for a total printer capacity of 800 sheets. The HL-L8430CDW, MFC-L8930CDW and MFC-L8970CDW also accept Brother's larger 520-sheet optional tray, and the two sizes can be combined within the two-tray limit for up to 1,340 sheets.
Brother rates the lower tray for 60 to 105 gsm plain, thin, recycled, coloured and letterhead paper in sizes from A4 and Legal down to A5 and B6, including Letter, Executive and Folio. Envelopes, labels, glossy paper and heavier stock up to 163 gsm go through the printer's 50-sheet multipurpose tray instead.
Yes. Brother positions the tray for loading a second media type, so you can keep letterhead or coloured paper in one tray and plain A4 in the other. That saves staff swapping stock in the main tray between jobs.
All four printers use Brother TN-645 toner and the DR-645CL drum unit. Brother lists standard, high yield (XL) and super high yield (XXL) TN-645 cartridges for the HL-L8430CDW, MFC-L8930CDW and MFC-L8970CDW, while the MFC-L8730CDW list covers the standard and high yield cartridges.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
