The Brother MFC-L8730CDW is a colour laser multi-function centre that prints, copies, scans and faxes at up to 31 pages a minute, with an 80 sheet feeder that captures both sides of a page in a single pass.

Output is 600 x 600 dpi with the 2,400 dpi class quality mode, from a 250 sheet tray plus a 50 sheet multi purpose tray, and two optional LT-350CL trays take the maximum to 800 sheets. The 80 sheet feeder captures both sides in one pass at up to 56 images a minute, on an 8.8cm colour touchscreen with a front USB host port.

It runs on Brother's TN645 range. Standard cartridges print up to 3,000 pages black and 1,800 each colour, and the high yield TN645XL up to 5,500 and 4,500, all to ISO/IEC 19798. Brother also lists the DR645CL drum, BU635CL belt and WT229CL waste toner box, and puts standard yield toner in the box.
