Kit B is a consumables and extras set designed to sit alongside Basic Electricity Kit A (supplier code EIS2011). It is not a standalone kit, and the Teacher's Manual lives in Kit A, not this one.

We would rather say that at the top than have it arrive as a surprise. If you already own Kit A, this is exactly what you want and one Kit B serves a whole class. If you do not own Kit A, buying this on its own gets you a box of good components with no instructional material and no mounted base panels to build on. Tell us and we will price Kit A for you at the same time.

What is in it: 20 replacement bulbs, 4 variable resistors, 3 motors, 3 buzzers, 2 electrode holders, 3 diodes, 3 fixed resistors, 4 universal clips with 8 crocodile clips, 6 steel rods and a reel of plastic-coated wire, in a polystyrene box.

The components mount on tough plastic bases with two 4mm sockets each and connect with stackable 4mm leads, which is what makes a class set survive a year of teenagers. Topics it covers with Kit A: bulbs and cells, switches, electromagnets, motors and buzzers.

Spare bulbs for the kit are supplier code EIS1057-SP, which we do not stock as standard - ask us.

You can, but you probably should not. It is designed as an add-on to Kit A and the Teacher's Manual is in Kit A. On its own you get good components with no instructional material and no base kit to extend. Ask us and we will quote Kit A alongside it.
Not as a listed line at the moment. We can order it - send us an enquiry and we will come back with a price and lead time.
One Kit B is enough for a whole class working alongside Kit A. It is the consumables and extras layer, not one set per group.
Secondary. The components, the 4mm socket system and the topics - electromagnets, motors, diodes, variable resistors - are aimed at years 7 to 10.
Twenty replacement bulbs are in the box. After that, the supplier code for spares is EIS1057-SP, which we do not stock as standard but can order.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Delivery estimates apply to in-stock items only and may vary due to carrier conditions or delays.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
