One lead, red, 42cm - banana one end, alligator the other

A single 42cm lead with a 4mm banana plug at one end and an alligator clip at the other. Sold individually, not in pairs.

This is the lead that bridges the two halves of a school lab. Bench equipment - power supplies, meters, the lamp on a stand - takes 4mm banana plugs. Everything a student improvises with - a nail, a paper clip, a bulb holder, a strip of foil - needs an alligator clip. A lead with one of each on it means you can go from the equipment to the experiment without an adaptor.

42cm is short enough to keep a bench tidy and long enough to reach from a power supply at the back to a circuit at the front.

Red is the one that does not go missing. In a tray of black leads a red one is findable, which sounds trivial until you have counted equipment back in at the end of a practical.

Note it is sold as a single lead. Most circuits need at least one red and one black, so order in pairs.

One lead. It is priced and supplied individually. Almost every circuit needs a red and a black, so order at least two.
The 4mm round pin that pushes into the sockets on lab power supplies, meters and mounted components. If your equipment has round holes about the width of a pencil lead, that is it.
Yes - that has two 4mm terminals, which is exactly what the banana end is for.
Because bench equipment does not have anything to clip onto. If both ends of your circuit are student-built, buy the 50cm double-alligator pack of ten instead.
At battery and low-voltage lab supply levels, yes. The wire is insulated and the clip is sleeved. It must never be used on mains.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
