Avery's specification table for the coloured manilla folders publishes no weight. Their own page title says 186gsm, and that is the only figure there is, so we quote it as their page title rather than as a specification. The buff folders are published at 163gsm.

The one sentence Avery publishes about colour, on every coloured code with the colour name swapped, is that coloured folders are a good way to colour code your documents. Avery publishes a thickness, not a sheet count: pre-scored to accommodate up to 25mm of paper. How many sheets that is depends on your paper, so we are not going to turn it into a number.

Foolscap at 355 x 241mm. Avery uses the same 241mm depth for both formats and changes only the width, which is worth knowing if you are matching a drawer.

Yes. Avery uses both words for this product and so does the trade, and our own catalogue has used them interchangeably for years - including the compound Manilla Folder File, which is not an Avery term at all. There is one product here, whatever it is called.
