Artline 579 Chisel Nib Whiteboard Markers in Blue, Box of 12

A box of 12 blue Artline 579 whiteboard markers with 5mm chisel nibs, a steady second colour for body text, flow charts and worked examples written large.

ACCO Brands Australia lists code 157903 as a chisel nib marker with a 5mm nib size and a line width of 2-5mm, housed in a plastic barrel. ACCO notes that the pigment-based ink produces dense, bold colour and that the dry safe formula gives up to 48 hours of cap-off time without drying out.

Blue is restful to read in quantity, which helps when a trainer fills a whole board with steps, definitions or a timetable. The chisel shape lets the same marker write broad section titles and narrower supporting lines, so fewer markers are needed at the board.

Build a broad colour set from our chisel tip whiteboard markers, find mixed packs under whiteboard marker sets, keep a board cleaner beside the board for weekly upkeep, or explore Artline for pens and fineliners too.

FAQs

Each box holds 12 blue markers; ACCO's pack size for 157903 is 12 and the ordering unit is the box.
ACCO gives the nib as a 5mm chisel with a line width of 2-5mm.
ACCO's figure for the 579 is a cap-off time of up to 48 hours, owing to its dry safe ink.
ACCO's page says the 579 can be used on electronic whiteboards as well as traditional ones. Your board's manual has the final say on markers.
The sources disagree, so no odour claim is made here. ACCO's page uses the words low odour; the ACCO Safety Data Sheet covering EK-579 gives a solvent odour and a DANGER signal word for the highly flammable ink. The SDS is linked on this page.
