A paint marker is not a felt pen. The ink is opaque, so it goes over a dark surface and stays the colour you drew. That is the whole reason to own them - white on black card, gold on a dark stone, a bright line over a painted background. A normal marker just disappears.
1mm is the detail size. Lettering, outlines, fine pattern and anything drawn rather than filled. If you want coverage, buy the 15mm jumbo instead and use both.
They work on the surfaces schools actually use - cardboard, paper, metal, wood, plastic, glass, fabric and stones. Rock painting, jar decorating and canvas work all use the same set.
Water-based and quick-drying, so it does not smell out a classroom and a student is not waiting on a wet line.
The two metallics matter more than you would think. Gold and silver are the colours a student reaches for when a piece needs to look finished, and they are the ones that run out first from a mixed set.
$1.88 a marker is roughly a third of what a comparable branded paint marker costs.
About Zart's claims
Zart describes these as a high-quality alternative to Posca and calls them sun-proof and waterproof. Those are their words, not our test results, and no standard or exposure period is named. We have asked what "sun-proof" is based on - outdoor lightfastness is a real specification and it should have a number behind it. Treat it as a claim until then, especially for anything going outside permanently.

Shipping & Delivery
Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered.
