The whole point is what you do not need. No brushes to wash, no water pots to knock over, no palette, no smocks-and-mop routine at the end. A child picks one up, stamps, and the lesson is the art rather than the setup and the pack-down.

A round sponge tip does two things. Pressed straight down it stamps a clean circle. Dragged, it draws a smooth line. That is enough for dot painting, pattern work, outlining and filling - which covers most of what an early years art lesson asks for.

The broad barrel is a fine motor decision. A small hand grips a fat barrel properly. It is easier to hold than a brush and far easier than a pencil, so a child who cannot yet control a line can still make a deliberate mark.

Twelve colours means colour recognition, sorting and pattern-making come free with the art lesson.

Fast-drying water-based ink, best on paper, card and canvas.

$2.50 a marker, and twelve is enough for a small group to each have their own colour.

Zart lists the size as "12 x 40mL". 40mL each is a lot of paint for something called a Mini - it is roughly a standard paint marker's full barrel. It may well be right, but we have asked them to confirm rather than repeat a figure that might be a typo. The colours are not individually named either, and we have asked for that list.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
