A coloured picture shape, which is a rarer thing than it sounds
50 plates. 17.5 x 24.5cm. Assorted colours. 300gsm. $18.30 - 37c each.
Rectangular and coloured together is the useful combination. Round coloured plates are everywhere; a coloured rectangle is a ready-made coloured ground in a picture shape, which is exactly what you would otherwise cut out of cover paper and mount on card.
300gsm holds paint, glue and print without buckling - so the finished piece can be pinned up rather than falling apart.
Working on colour is a better lesson than working on white. A student has to decide how their colours read against the ground instead of starting from a blank.
Zart also suggests using them as picture frames for student work, which is a good idea - mount a smaller piece on the coloured plate and it is framed and ready to display.

Read this before you order for a colour-specific project
Zart's own copy says "six bright assorted colours" and then lists five: lime, green, teal, purple and pink. One of those numbers is wrong and we do not know which, so we have not published a colour count. We have asked. If you need a specific colour or a specific number of them, check with us first.
The environmental and safety claims are Zart's - sustainably sourced, plastic-free, "PFA-free" and food-grade, none certified. We have asked whether "PFA-free" means PFAS-free.

Shipping & Delivery
Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
