Coastal colour dry pastels for blending sea and shore
Zart Dry Pastels Australian Coastal Colours Pack of 12, supplier code PSZ127, is a themed set of 12 student-quality dry pastels from The Creative School Supply Company, each 8mm wide and 68mm long.
The supplier describes the set as 12 Australian Coastal Colours made with fine, vibrant pigments. It says the smooth texture allows shading, blending and layering, suiting soft gradients and expressive mark-making. The supplier points to the soft blues of the ocean, the golden hues of sandy shores and the rugged beauty of coastal cliffs as subjects for the set.
The supplier names classroom lessons in colour theory, blending and drawing techniques. Each stick is 8mm wide and 68mm long, and the supplier says that size gives a comfortable grip for both students and teachers working on soft gradients and layered colour.
Pastel tools and pan pastel palettes suit the same blending work. Outback and Rainforest themed sets are also listed. Browse pastels, drawing supplies, art and craft supplies and the Zart range.
