Size 7 round with a generous hog hair head

Size 7 in the X-Press It 582 R series is a generously filled hog hair round for broad fills and confident strokes on larger sheets.

The listing photo shows this exact size: a long plain timber handle printed 7 and 582 R, a bright metal ferrule and a cream hog hair head shaped into a round with a domed end. With more bristle than the size 6, it moves a good load of paint across A3 sheets and card without constant trips back to the palette.

Larger paper and group murals need a brush that covers ground, and a size 7 does that while still giving a reasonably defined edge. Students can work standing at an easel or flat on a table, and printed numbering keeps the set organised.

Keep a mix of sizes for every table so students can swap as they work. Browse our craft paint brushes, add acrylic paints, and look through painting accessories for palettes and water pots.

FAQs

One size 7 hog hair round brush from X-Press It, handle printed 7 582 R. The photo on this page shows this size.
They share the same handle and bristle type. The size 8 has a slightly larger head again, so choose it if broad coverage matters more than edge control.
A round brush can spread paste or PVA, but glue left to dry in the bristles is hard to remove. Many teachers keep separate brushes for glue and paint.
Our supplier packs this size in twelves, which suits a class split into tables. It is still sold individually if you only need a few.
