Size 8 hog hair round for covering ground quickly

Choose the size 8 X-Press It hog hair round when a lesson is all about colour fields, big backgrounds and large shapes.

Part of the 582 R hog hair round series, the size 8 has a broad domed round head of cream bristle set in a metal ferrule on a plain timber handle. The handle print on this size reads 582 8 in the product photo, and a barcode sits further along. It is one of the bigger heads in the series, second only to the size 12.

A big head means fewer strokes to cover a sheet, so younger students finish a background before losing interest and older students can work quickly on large boards. The supplier pack of twelve keeps one per student easy to manage.

Balance it with a small round for details such as eyes, outlines and lettering. Visit our brush collection, acrylic paint range and art and craft supplies to complete the classroom kit.
