Shiny's Printer S-402, Staedtler code 9S402, is a self-inking RECEIVED stamp that adds the arrival date and a BY: line to letters, delivery paperwork and forms as they come in.

A received stamp settles the question of when something actually landed. Reception desks use it on the morning post, stores teams on delivery dockets, and practice managers on referrals and signed forms handed in at the counter. Whoever opens the item writes their initials on the BY: line.

The maker is Shiny, whose logo is on the black housing, and Staedtler supply the range through their Australian business. Print is two colour according to Staedtler's catalogue: RECEIVED and the signature line in blue, the date in red. The 4mm date is rolled forward by hand each morning.
