The Staedtler Shiny 9S402 is a self-inking date stamp with a RECEIVED message, producing a combined RECEIVED + current date impression for marking incoming correspondence, documents and deliveries at reception desks, mail rooms and administration counters.

RECEIVED date stamps are one of the most used stamps in any busy office - every incoming invoice, application, delivery docket or piece of correspondence that needs to be tracked requires a RECEIVED date to establish when it arrived. The 9S402 combines the RECEIVED message with an automatically adjusting date in a single self-inking mechanism, producing a clear, consistent impression on every document without requiring a separate ink pad or manual date setting each day. The self-inking pad re-inks automatically between impressions. The date bands adjust via a simple band-rotation mechanism to advance the day, month and year. Suitable for typical office volume use over an extended service life before the pad requires replacement.
