The Staedtler Academy 961 80-1AS is a 300mm oval-section scale ruler providing six metric scale ratios in a compact, colour-coded triangular instrument - designed for architecture and building design students requiring scale reading across the standard scale range.
An oval-section scale ruler (also called a scale rule or metric rule) carries multiple scales along its facets, allowing the drafter to measure and mark dimensions at different scales without swapping instruments. The AS1212-1 configuration provides a range of common metric scales used in architecture, civil engineering and interior design documentation. The oval section - as opposed to the flat triangular section - sits comfortably in the hand during extended measurement tasks and is the standard academy format for technical drawing courses. The 300mm length is practical for A3 and A2 work. The colour-coded scale markings on each facet allow quick identification of the correct scale without having to read the fine print.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim.
