Warm Copper Flakes For Clay And Craft Surfaces

FIMO leaf metal 8781-26 is a pack of 10 copper-coloured metal leaf sheets from Staedtler, each 14 x 14 cm, for laying a metallic finish over modelling clay and other craft work.

Staedtler pitch leaf metal as an easy embellishing technique for impressive surface effects, and say it adheres to many different surfaces. Copper gives a rosy, warm metallic that looks striking against black or dark clay; Staedtler's own project photos show torn copper flakes pressed over black clay coasters for a party table.

The sheets are very thin, so they can be laid whole for a solid finish or torn and crumbled into patches. The front of the pack shows a three-step picture guide. Copper sits in the range with gold 8781-11 and silver 8781-81.
