The Staedtler Karat 5427 BK is a kneadable art eraser supplied on a blister card, providing a soft, mouldable rubber compound that can be pressed into any shape to lift graphite, charcoal and soft pastel from drawing surfaces without abrasion or residue.
Kneadable erasers work differently from conventional erasers - rather than abrading the surface to remove media, they lift and absorb the pigment or graphite particles by pressing the eraser against the surface and pulling away. This lifting action is non-abrasive and leaves no eraser debris on the surface, making kneadable erasers essential for charcoal, soft pastel and graphite work where conventional erasure damages the paper tooth or leaves residue that interferes with subsequent layers. The eraser can be kneaded into a point or edge for precision work, or spread flat for broad lightening across a tonal area. As it picks up pigment, kneading redistributes it inside the rubber. When exhausted, the eraser is discarded (it cannot be cleaned). Blister card of 1.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
