Bulk Spare Cores For The Mars Plastic 528 Eraser Holder

Staedtler 528 55 PB3 packs three Mars plastic refill cores together, and this listing is a box of 10 of those packs, giving 30 cores for drawing offices and studios that keep several 528 holders in use.

Every core is the standard 528 55 refill, which Staedtler size at 97 x 7 x 7 mm. It loads into the Mars plastic 528 eraser holder, the pen-shaped holder with a core sliding mechanism and a clip. Staedtler pitch that holder at graphite on paper and matt drafting film, and that is the work these cores do once fitted.

A slim core is the tool for lifting one stray line, cleaning up a lettering slip or tidying hatching without disturbing the work beside it. As the tip wears you slide out a little more, and a spent core is simply swapped for the next one from the box.

Staedtler describe the 528 system as phthalate and latex free and made in Germany, and the cores in our pack photo are printed GERMANY and 528 55 along their length.

Yes. Staedtler name art. no. 528 55 as the eraser core refill for the Mars plastic 528 eraser holder. They do not list it for other holders, or for the small eraser plugs used in mechanical pencils.
No, this is refills only. The holder comes on its own blistercard with one core as article 528 50BKDA, which we also sell.
Staedtler list the 528 system for graphite on paper and matt drafting film. Ink is not on that list, so for pen work look at a combi eraser with an ink section.
Staedtler give 97 x 7 x 7 mm for the 528 55 refill. That is the length of a full core before any of it has been used.
