Black Refill Station For Lumocolor Non-Permanent Pens

Staedtler 487 15-9 is a 15 ml pot of black ink that refills the Lumocolor non-permanent universal pens 311, 312, 315 and 316.

Those four pens cover superfine to broad lines and are widely used on overhead film, laminated sheets and other smooth surfaces where marks need to come off again. Staedtler describe the ink as water-soluble and say it can be wiped off film with a damp cloth. When a black pen starts to fade, this pot puts ink back into it rather than sending it to the bin.

Push the pen tip into the station and leave it. It writes again after a few minutes and, according to Staedtler, needs 3 to 4 hours to refill completely; because the pen only draws its own maximum ink content it cannot be overfilled. Staedtler's catalogue says a pen can be refilled up to 10 times, depending on the tip.
