Lumocolor Non-Permanent Blue Ink In A 15 ml Refill Pot

Staedtler 487 15-3 recharges blue Lumocolor non-permanent pens 311, 312, 315 and 316 from a 15 ml pot.

Blue non-permanent pens see a lot of use on laminated timetables, sign-in sheets and overhead film, where the writing has to be changed and rewritten. Rather than replacing a pen each time it runs low, stand it tip down in this station and let it draw ink back into its reservoir.

Staedtler say the pen can be used again a few minutes later and is completely full after 3 to 4 hours. The polypropylene pot cannot overfill a pen, since each pen takes only its own maximum load. One pen can be refilled up to 10 times, Staedtler's catalogue says, with the condition of the tip the deciding factor. Like the pens, the ink is water-soluble.

No. It suits the non-permanent 311, 312, 315 and 316. Permanent Lumocolor pens take the 487 17 pot, and Lumocolor markers such as the 350 and 352 take the 488 50.
Uncap the pen and stand it nib down in the station. It writes again within minutes; allow 3 to 4 hours for a full refill, Staedtler say.
When the tip is damaged. Staedtler's figure of up to 10 refills depends on the condition of the tip, and new ink will not fix a split or blunt one.
