Red Water-Soluble Refill Leads For The Omnichrom 768

Staedtler 218-2 is a clear tray holding 12 red leads, the refill for the Lumocolor non-permanent omnichrom 768 dry marker.

Red stands out on light and mid-tone materials, which makes it a common choice for cut lines, check marks and set-out points on timber, plastic, glass and stone. Staedtler describe the omnichrom lead as opaque on almost all surfaces, even transparent ones, and removable from many smooth surfaces with a wipe.

The leads are 70 mm long and about 3 mm in diameter, according to Staedtler, and sit in the 768 holder, which can retract the lead after use. Staedtler add that 768 marks do not bleed through paper and wash out of many textiles.

Load them into the red 768N-2 holder or change another 768 holder over to red. The same leads come in white 218-0, yellow 218-1 and black 218-9, and Staedtler state they are made in Germany.
