Most fidgets make a noise or need to be held. This one does neither. The non-skid base means it stays where you put it, so a child can run a palm over it without the thing sliding off the desk - and it can go on the floor to be used with a foot, which is the option a child who does not want to be seen fidgeting will actually take.

Silent is the feature. A pop fidget clicks. A spinner rattles. This makes no sound at all, which is what lets it be used during a test, a reading session or an assembly without anyone else noticing.
