The weighted lap pad you can actually clean
A 20 x 30cm lap pad weighing 1.3kg, with a wipe-clean polyester outer and glass bead filling.
Every weighted lap pad works. The difference between them is what happens after a spill. Fabric pads have to be hand washed cold and cannot be tumble dried, which in a real classroom means one accident and the pad is out of service for two days. This one wipes down with a damp cloth and goes straight back on the next child.
That makes it the right choice for a shared resource - a calm-down corner, a therapy room, a pad that moves between students - and the fabric ones the right choice for a single child who owns theirs.
Do not wash it. Wipe down with a damp cloth only. The supplier is explicit about that and it is the trade-off for the wipe-clean surface.
Safety - the supplier's warning, in full: Always consult your therapist on the use of weighted products and if the lap pad becomes damaged stop using immediately. Not suitable for children under 3.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim.
