Spencil Silky 3 in 1 Crayons, 12 Colours

Twelve twist-up Silky Crayons that Spencil describe as working three ways: as a crayon, as a pastel, and as a watercolour once you add water.

The set runs through pink, red, orange, yellow, cream, green, teal, sky blue, royal blue, purple, lilac and black, each colour held in a twist-up outer tube with the Spencil logo. Spencil say the colours go on smooth and creamy, are water-soluble, odourless and fast-drying, and that the tube keeps hands mess free.

Use them dry for bold crayon lines, blend them like a soft pastel, or brush over the marks with water to wash colour across the page. Spencil list them for use on paper or canvas and for ages 3 and up, which makes the box a handy pick for school holidays, art time and gifts.

FAQs

One box of 12 Spencil Silky Crayons, one each of 12 assorted colours.
Spencil say the colours are water-soluble: draw with the crayon, then brush water over the marks to spread them like paint.
No. Each crayon sits in a twist-up tube, so you wind it up as it wears down instead of sharpening.
Spencil list the Silky Crayons for ages 3 and up, and describe them as easy for small fingers to hold.
Spencil recommend paper or canvas. Use a heavier paper when adding water so the page does not buckle.
Pink, red, orange, yellow, cream, green, teal, sky blue, royal blue, purple, lilac and black, as shown in the Spencil product photos.
