Diagonal Line and Isometric Dot Grid Sketch Tiles

Sketch Tiles Essentials in diagonal lines and isometric dot grid is a two pack of pattern tiles aimed, in the words of the pack, at helping you create textures and patterns effortlessly.

Designers and illustrators add surface detail to sketches all the time: hatching on a shoe upper, a dot grid for isometric drawing, a regular texture behind lettering. This Sketch Tiles Essentials pack pairs two patterns, diagonal lines and an isometric dot grid, and its front shows a rendered sneaker sketch to suggest the kind of product drawing it targets. The supplier lists it as a drawing template.

Ready made patterns give consistent spacing that is hard to keep by hand, which matters when a texture has to look even across a whole drawing. The isometric dot grid also gives a quick framework for 3D product and packaging sketches.

The tiles work best as one part of a full sketching kit, alongside fine liners, markers and layout paper. Use them alongside drawing supplies and art markers, sketch on tracing paper, and keep work in art pads.

FAQs

One Sketch Tiles Essentials pack containing two tiles: one with diagonal lines and one with an isometric dot grid.
The pack front only states that they create textures and patterns, and shows finished sketches. We do not have the full instructions, so treat them as a texture aid for sketching and check the back of the pack for method.
The companion Essentials pack, code ST-E02, holds a hexagonal grid and a crosshatch pattern.
The pack artwork shows rendered footwear, which points to product design and illustration. They also suit design and technology students learning to render surfaces.
