Metallic Purple in a retractable Gelly Roll

This Gelly Roll Retractable 08 in Metallic Purple combines a shimmering violet ink with a click action for quick decorative work.

Code XGBRA108#524 uses the same colour number as the capped Metallic Purple, in the frosted Retractable barrel with a magenta purple clip and plunger. Sakura says the Retractable comes in an 08 medium size and that Gelly Roll Metallic works on dark and light paper. Our swatches show a purple line across white and black, and the writing sample shows a lavender sheen.

A click pen with metallic ink is handy for journaling on the go, labelling gifts and decorating cards without hunting for a cap. Sakura describes the ink as waterproof and fade resistant on paper. The purple clip makes this shade easy to pick out from a jar of pens.

Compare it with the capped Metallic Purple in our gel pens collection. Dark card for shimmer work sits in art paper and canvas, with more ideas in art and craft supplies and journals in visual art diaries.
