Silver retractable gel pen for shimmer on dark card

Silver in the Gelly Roll Retractable 08 writes a bright metallic silver, a favourite for black paper art, winter cards and silver lettering.

Sakura code XGBRA108#553 shares its colour number with Sakura's Metallic Silver. The pen has a pale silver grey clip and plunger on the frosted Retractable barrel, and our writing sample shows a crisp silver line that looks brighter on black paper than on white. Sakura gives the Retractable as an 08 medium, 0.8 mm.

Silver shows clearly on dark envelopes, chalkboard style signs and black paper sketchbooks. The click body suits quick decorating at a craft table. Sakura says the ink is waterproof and fade resistant, and that Metallic works on dark and light paper.

Pair it with Gold and White from our gel pens collection. Browse art paper and canvas for black stock and art pads for sketchbooks, then look through art and craft supplies for envelopes, embellishments and seasonal card projects.
