A Low-Sided Sadr Pan for Crepes and Pancakes

The Resto Sadr 28cm crepe pan is a low-sided pan made from recycled die-cast aluminium, with a water-based Queenhome non-stick interior and an induction base.

Sadr is one of Resto's die-cast collections, made from recycled aluminium and finished in dark green with wood-grain handles. The crepe pan is 28cm across and Resto lists it at just 2.7cm high, so a spatula slides easily under a crepe, pancake or flatbread. It sits alongside the 24cm, 26cm and 28cm Sadr frypans, which have deeper sides for frying and searing.

The 5mm base has a 243mm induction disc and an anti-deformation disk for induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs. Resto describes the Queenhome coating as water-based and resistant to corrosion and abrasion, and the wood-grain Bakelite handle has a hanging loop for hook storage.

FAQs

Yes. Resto lists induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs for this crepe pan, and the base is reinforced with an anti-deformation disk to help it stay flat.
No. Resto's retail sleeve for this pan carries a no-oven symbol and the product page shows no oven-safe mark, so keep it to the hob.
Resto marks it dishwasher safe, but its care guidance limits this to low temperatures (max. 50°C) and warns the aluminium base may discolour in a dishwasher. We recommend hand washing to keep the base and the exterior coating looking their best.
Resto's specifications for this range do not name suitable utensils. To look after any non-stick coating, we suggest wooden, silicone or nylon utensils rather than metal.
The crepe pan has very low sides: Resto lists it at 2.7cm high and 28cm across, which suits thin batters and easy flipping. The Sadr frypans come in 24cm, 26cm and 28cm with deeper sides for frying and searing.
No. The crepe pan is sold on its own, without a lid. In the Sadr range only the casseroles and the saucepan come with glass lids.
Resto does not say either way for Sadr. Its Sadr Declaration of Compliance describes only an aluminium body with a non-stick coating, so we make no claim about PTFE. Resto describes the Queenhome interior as water-based and states its die-cast collections are free of lead, PFOA and cadmium.
