Matte Black Down to the Nib

Parker 2182013 is the Ingenuity fountain pen in matte black lacquer with black trim and a fine nib, and in our photographs even the nib is dark, so nothing on the pen catches the light.

The cap, barrel, clip, bands and fluted section are all finished in black, with a soft matte surface instead of gloss. It is the fountain pen counterpart to the all black Ingenuity ballpoint, for people who like a strong shape without polished metal.

The fine grade lays down a slim line, which suits sketch notes, technical annotation and small handwriting. It is packed in Parker's dark grey presentation box.

We could not obtain Parker's own page for item 2182013, so nib material, ink and filling system are not listed here; the description sticks to the title and photos. The matching ballpoint and Parker inks are below. Browse executive fountain pens, executive pens and Parker.
