An All-Black IM Ballpoint for a Low-Key Desk

Parker 2127892 is the IM Achromatic ballpoint pen: matte black lacquer with black trim and a medium tip, so the whole pen, clip included, reads as one dark tone.

Most IM pens pair their lacquer with polished chrome or gold. The Achromatic version drops the shine. In the product photos the barrel, push button, clip, centre band and cone are all dark, with only the writing tip in metal. The arrow clip keeps it recognisably Parker.

It suits people who like a pen that blends in with a black laptop, a dark notebook and a plain suit, and it is a safe pick for a gift when you do not know whether the person prefers gold or silver. Our photos show it supplied in a black Parker box with a white inner tray.

Parker's own product page for this item was not available to us, so we only list what the title and photos show. Browse Parker, executive ballpoint pens, pen refills and pens worth gifting.
