White Hook Tape, 50mm Wide, for Stick On Hook and Loop Work

Code 15009 is a Velcro Brand roll of white hook tape, 50mm wide and 25m long, carrying the spool label Velcro Brand Stick On 0172 Hook Tape. White tape blends into pale surfaces where a dark strip would stand out.

Hook only tape is one half of a closure, and it relies on a loop side to fasten. Its partner in the 0172 line, also 50mm wide and white, is code 15109, a separate 25m loop roll on our store. For darker finishes, the 50mm hook width also comes in black as code 15008, with its own loop roll listed as code 15135.

The spool directions set out a pressure sensitive adhesive process: begin with a clean, dry surface, take off the backing tape right before application, and favour smooth, non-porous surfaces for the best results. In those same directions, full bond is listed at 24 hours, which is worth building into any installation schedule.

A loop side. On our store that is code 15109, the white 50mm loop roll in the 0172 line, sold as its own 25m roll.
On the spool directions, the surface should be clean and dry, and smooth, non-porous materials are named for the best results. The spool directions also have the backing tape peeled off right before the tape goes down.
The spool label carries no weight capacity or holding figure. We have not located a published one for this code either, so the page states none.
Outdoor use is not mentioned on the spool label, and no temperature range is printed. We cannot confirm it for outdoor jobs.
