A Small White Fan Running From The Wall Socket

Nero 749015 is a white 15cm desk fan that plugs into a 240V wall socket, with two speeds, a tilting head and a 1 year warranty from Nero.

Weatherdon place it one step above their entry level fan: slightly larger, connected to mains power and more powerful. That suits a spot where a USB fan feels too gentle but a pedestal fan would take up floor space, such as a home study, a bedside table or a desk in a warm upstairs room.

Control is simple. A switch on the back of the motor housing is marked 0, 1 and 2 for off, low and high, and the head tilts forward or back until it clicks into place. The fan measures 170 x 200 x 290mm, is rated at 20 W and has a 1.5m cable. For upkeep, the Nero manual suggests a soft damp cloth on the housing and a vacuum for dust on the blades.
