Plug It Into The Laptop And Point It Your Way

Nero 749901 is a black 10cm mini fan that runs from a 5V USB port, with four aluminium blades inside a metal safety guard and a 1 year warranty from Nero.

Plenty of desks have no spare power point, and that is where a USB fan earns its place. The 1.1m cable ends in a USB plug, so the fan can run from a spare port on a laptop or desktop computer, or from a USB power adaptor. Weatherdon rate it at 2.5 W.

The fan sits in a black wire frame and tilts vertically, so it can be angled up from a low shelf or down from the top of a monitor stand. There is one speed and an on and off rocker switch on the back of the motor. At 150 x 95 x 150mm overall it fits beside a keyboard without crowding the desk.

See the electric fans range and other Nero products, or pick up a USB charger or power adapter for a desk without a computer.

FAQs

Weatherdon list it as USB powered with a 1.1m cable and do not list a wall adaptor. Plug it into a computer USB port or a separate USB power adaptor.
One. It is turned on and off with a rocker switch on the back of the motor.
Weatherdon list USB as the power source and do not mention a battery, so it only runs while connected.
Yes. The head tilts vertically within the wire frame. Weatherdon do not list oscillation, so aim it by tilt alone.
Use a soft cloth only, as the Nero caution label directs. The label also says not to take the blades apart and not to touch the fan with wet hands.
Nero 7490131 has a round base, 13cm blades and four speed settings. This 10cm model has one speed and a wire frame.
