Keep Strapping Off The Carton Edge

Marbig 51082 strap guards are short brown board angles, 40 x 40mm and 50mm long at 4mm thick, sold in a box of 2100.

Tensioned strapping bites into the top edge of a carton, crushes the corner and can split the board. ACCO describe the guard as stopping straps cutting into cartons: it sits on the edge where the strap crosses, and the strap bears on the guard instead.

A 50mm long guard covers the width of common hand and machine straps with room either side, and the 40mm angle suits small to mid size cartons. With 2100 in a box, a busy despatch bench can put a guard at every strap crossing without rationing them.

The other guard sizes are in pallet protection, straps, buckles and tensioners are in strapping rolls, full length edges are in pallet corner protectors, plus the wider Marbig catalogue.

ACCO do not publish a strap width for this guard. At 50mm long it is wider than the 12mm to 19mm straps we stock, so it sits under those with room either side.
It has a smaller 40 x 40mm angle and ACCO list it at 4mm thick. Codes 51083 and 51084 have a 55 x 55mm angle for larger cartons.
ACCO describe it only as stopping straps cutting into cartons. No load or crush rating is published.

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
